Most people who struggle to be heard at work don't have a public speaking problem.

They have a confidence problem. The ability is there, but the voice and presence don't yet carry it, so credit goes elsewhere, the opportunity doesn't come.

Vocal Playground is an opportunity to change all of that. Through practical exercises, participants learn to steady the voice under pressure and speak with authority.

A Vocal Playground workshop group

This workshop treats presence as what it actually is: a physical, learnable skill, not a personality trait.

“Thank you so much for your session today with us Sarah, it was so engaging for our research students and really woke the students back up! I admire your public speaking skills”

“Just wanted to say a big thank you for walking our 3 Minute Thesis students through your masterclass on presenting and storytelling — you had them enraptured and they left feeling very inspired to continue working on their voices”

Before you ask

I have huge fears around public speaking and speaking in general. Is this workshop right for me?

Yes. You're exactly who it is for.

Do I need to come with anything prepared?

Nothing at all. Just yourself and a willingness to be a bit silly and try things out.

Does this really work?

Yes, but only if you keep practising the techniques we teach. Like any skill it takes time and effort. It is entirely possible.

Come and play.
